Peter Smith is the co-founder and current Executive Chairman of Blockchain.com, one of the longest-running companies in the cryptocurrency industry.
The company's history began in 2011 when its founders built a block explorer from a small apartment in York. The initial objective was to make Bitcoin's public transaction system easier to understand and use.
Blockchain.com's next major stage was the development of its cryptocurrency wallet, which allowed users to manage digital assets through a consumer-facing interface rather than interacting directly with blockchain infrastructure.
