Blockchain Founders Make the Leap to Boardroom
A recent report by Quorum Media highlights three founder-company pairs in the fintech and Web3 sectors, noting how their early technical decisions are now shaping investor attention.
The first pair is Tectum, a Layer-1 blockchain founded by Alexander Guseff. Guseff spent his early career working on the protocol layer itself, responsible for transaction mechanics before presenting them to investors.
Tectum's flagship product, SoftNote, charges merchants a flat 1% withdrawal fee and offers a twelve-cryptocurrency network for settling transactions. The system has crossed 70,000 wallet users and 1.75 million bills have been minted on the network.
Guseff's move from lead architect to CEO in December 2024, along with Tectum's Best Blockchain Innovation Award win, marks a shift in attention towards the company.
