Blockchain IPOs Gain Traction as CZ Forecasts Traditional Model's Demise
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) predicts that traditional IPOs will move entirely onto the blockchain. He believes tokenizing public offerings will provide companies with round-the-clock liquidity, seamless interoperability with DeFi protocols, and direct access to global retail capital.
This theory is confirmed by Anthropic, a company from the artificial intelligence sector, whose pre-market has exploded in on-chain derivatives tied to its shares. Trading volumes have surged into the millions just a month before the official opening bell on Wall Street.
The total market capitalization of real-world assets (RWA) with blockchain infrastructure is $33.6 billion, with tokenized stocks and ETFs accounting for around $3 billion. Binance's bStocks platform holds 21% of this segment ($627.5 million), with 981,215 holders.
