BlockDAG Surges While Meme Coins Struggle to Attract New Buyers
The cryptocurrency market has seen a surge in interest for BlockDAG, which recorded a $2M presale jump in just 24 hours. In contrast, other meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are struggling to attract new buyers.
Dogecoin, often considered the first coin many newcomers purchase, has fallen to a yearly low near $0.077, well below its peak. Despite its huge community, celebrity support, and digital-commodity classification from U.S. regulators, Dogecoin is relying mainly on its existing community rather than expanding it.
Shiba Inu, created as a 'Dogecoin killer,' has followed a similar path. It gained a huge following and developed its own ecosystem, but the buying wave that brought it gains during its strongest period has weakened. SHIB now trades around 95% below its all-time high, with fading interest instead of steady new demand.
