BlockDAG Token Sale: A New Player in the Market?
In mid-August 2026, the total digital asset market capitalization stood at around $2.2 trillion, but market sentiment remained largely muted. Bitcoin was trading in a narrow range of approximately $63,000 to $65,000, facing resistance due to soft U.S. employment figures and upcoming CPI data releases. At this time, American spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced net capital outflows of about $145 million.
Ethereum traded around the $1,870, $1,900 range with limited directional movement. The CLARITY Act vote was delayed until September. Amidst this subdued momentum, some early-stage token offers received attention, including BlockDAG.
BlockDAG is conducting a 25-stage public token sale, starting at Stage 1 with a price of $0.002 per token and increasing progressively through the stages to $0.05 at Stage 25. The team aims for a target listing reference near $0.10, contingent on market conditions and the completion of the token sale.
The project reports existing products, including an operational casino with over 13,000 registered users, as well as a high-throughput blockchain design capable of handling up to 7,000 transactions per second with a 2-second confirmation time. BlockDAG emphasizes its compatibility with Ethereum Virtual Machine tooling and GhostDAG-based security.
