A recent hack on the Liquid Network has left nearly $47 million in Bitcoin unaccounted for, despite the return of over 3,400 BTC.

The incident began when attackers exploited a flaw in the software used by Liquid, generating around 4,000 Liquid Bitcoins before exchanging them for real Bitcoin.

Blockstream, which operates the Liquid Network, has refused to pay a ransom to recover the remaining funds, labeling the attack as theft rather than white-hat activity.
