BloFin Review: Competitive Fees, High Leverage, and a Broader Product Range
BloFin is a derivatives-focused cryptocurrency exchange that has grown significantly since its founding in 2019. The platform offers a range of products, including perpetual futures, spot trading, copy trading, and an earn suite.
One of BloFin's key strengths is its competitive fee structure. While its headline fees are middle-of-the-pack, the discount structure makes it genuinely competitive. VIP 1 accounts can cut the futures taker fee to 0.050% and the maker fee to 0.006%, which is reachable by holding $50,000 in account assets.
BloFin's product range is broader than its reputation as a perpetual-futures specialist suggests. It offers spot trading, copy-trading products covering both spot and futures, and BloFin Earn for putting idle assets to work. However, the platform trails larger rivals in breadth of spot listings and fiat on-ramps.
The exchange also has high leverage, topping out at 150x on its most liquid perpetuals. This extra headroom lets traders express a directional view with less margin locked up, but it also brings their liquidation price closer to entry. The trading interface is clean and purpose-built for derivatives, and the platform supports cross, isolated, and portfolio margin modes.
