BlueWallet Introduces Custom Entropy Feature for Bitcoin Key Generation
BlueWallet, a popular Bitcoin wallet app, has released version 8.0.0, which includes a custom entropy feature for key generation.
This new feature allows users to manually input randomness into the wallet creation process using coin flips or dice rolls.
The target is 256 bits of entropy, which is the standard threshold for generating a secure Bitcoin seed phrase.
If a user's manual input falls short of this target, the app automatically fills the gap using the device's system RNG.
