BNB Agent Studio Unleashes AI-Friendly Wallets with Altana Integration

BNB Chain's Agent Studio has rolled out its second major version, featuring a new wallet integration that addresses one of crypto's most pressing concerns: how to let AI bots spend money without handing over private keys.

The new feature, offered by Altana Network, is called the 'Smart Agentic Wallet'. It allows developers to keep full custody of their private keys while AI agents operate through scoped session keys with hard spending limits, allowlists, and time constraints baked in at the protocol level.

Altana's architecture uses EIP-7702-compatible session keys, which enables delegated execution without transferring ownership. Permissions are stored in an on-chain Keystore, a neutral registry that any user can audit. If something looks off, those permissions can be revoked instantly.

The integration is available alongside TWAK (Trust Wallet AgentKit), giving developers a choice between approaches depending on their security model and use case. Other updates include TypeScript support, simplified testing environments, and agent monetization features.
