BNB Chain Employee Turned $10K into $638K with ASTEROID Token

A recent incident on BNB Chain has sparked concerns about insider trading and token manipulation. A former employee, who remains anonymous, deployed the ASTEROID token and sold nearly 80% of its supply for a profit of $628,000 to $638,000.

The tokens were created using a tutorial video from 2025 that was meant to be an educational demonstration, but instead became the digital fingerprint linking the deployer to their former employer.

Four newly created wallets accumulated the token supply, raising red flags among on-chain sleuths. By the time the community connected the dots, ASTEROID had surged past $20 million in trading volume.
