BNB Chain Ex-Employee Nets $628K in ASTEROID Token Deal
A former employee of BNB Chain has triggered a significant price movement in the ASTEROID token. The ex-employee deployed the token, which led to its immediate accumulation by four new wallets that collectively purchased 796.7 million tokens, or 79.67% of the supply, for just $10,000.
The new owners then quickly sold off 718.8 million tokens for a total of 1,103 BNB, worth approximately $638,000 at the time. This transaction resulted in a profit of $628,000 for the sellers.
The price action on the 4-hour chart shows ASTEROID trading within its Bollinger Bands, with both EMA50 and EMA200 serving as long-term support levels. The MACD has registered a bullish golden cross, while the RSI sits at 50.72, indicating consolidation rather than immediate continuation.
The recent events have led to concerns about heavy early distribution risk in ASTEROID, particularly amid the current crypto market crash and potential AI industry impact on new token launches. As a result, price prediction models are now factoring in these risks.
