BNB Chain Fires Back at Former Employee Over Unauthorized Token Deployment

BNB Chain clarified an incident involving the unauthorized deployment of a new token called TST. According to BNB Chain, a former employee had created a wallet address and used it in a video tutorial to generate tokens before leaving the company. The individual retained access to the associated mnemonic phrase and used it to create new private keys.

The same wallet address is now being used independently for a new meme token, which BNB Chain did not create or authorize. The company is taking legal action against the former employee and cooperating with authorities on the matter.

Community estimates suggest that the developer profited over $1 million through bundled token issuance.
