BNB Chain Launches Hackathon for AI Agent Trading Markets on Its Platform

BNB Chain has launched the Build the Era hackathon to encourage developers to create the best AI Agent trading markets on its platform. The event, which started on August 5 and runs until September 9, offers a total prize pool of over $40,000. Developers are encouraged to build markets that cover four categories: monitoring, grid trading, health factor management, and profit optimization.

The hackathon is open to individual developers and teams who want to create innovative AI Agent solutions on the BNB Smart Chain. The platform currently has over 200,000 registered AI Agents based on the ERC-8004 standard, accounting for about 60% of all similar agents in the network. However, there is a lack of a unified discovery, comparison, and calling interface, which this hackathon aims to address.

BNB Chain is partnering with several ecosystem partners, including TermiX, PancakeSwap, AltLayer, and Altana, to provide prizes for the best submissions. The main prize is 30,000 USDT worth of BNB, plus the opportunity to be adopted as an official trading market on the BNB Agent Studio platform.
