BNB Chain Leads RWA Growth, But Solana Reigns Supreme in On-Chain Activity

CryptoChain BNB has taken the lead in Real World Assets (RWA) growth in 2026, according to CryptoRank. The platform has seen a +3.6 billion dollar increase since January this year.

However, this figure measures an annual variation and not crypto trading activity. In contrast, DeFiLlama data shows that Solana regained the world lead in application revenues over 24 hours with $6.93 million, far ahead of BNB Chain's $1.02 million.

The discrepancy highlights the importance of understanding what metrics are being used to measure growth and success in the crypto market. While BNB Chain may be leading in RWA growth, Solana is dominating in terms of actual on-chain activity.
