BNB Chain Prioritizes Security with New Update, Binance Token Remains Stagnant
The Binance token has not responded to the recent update of the BNB Chain, which prioritizes security.
The BNB Chain's main network activated the Pasteur hard fork on August 25th, aimed at strengthening its security and capacity. This update includes three different proposals: BEP-682, BEP-695, and BEP-675.
BEP-682 improves the security of bridges used for inter-network transactions by preventing a validator from being counted multiple times in a single transaction. BEP-695 closes security gaps related to validator key exchange, ensuring that an old key truly loses its privileges after being replaced.
The third proposal, BEP-675, aims to increase performance by allowing validators not to re-process every transaction before block validation, which could lead to faster processing and higher transaction capacity.
