The Binance Coin (BNB) network is set to undergo a major performance upgrade called Pasteur, which aims to improve its efficiency and throughput. According to testnet benchmarks, the upgrade has shown significant improvements, with throughput rising from 1,237 TPS to 2,324 TPS without increasing block time.

This upgrade comes as BNB Chain continues to aggressively push for faster execution and higher throughput in order to compete with other networks. However, some traders may find this upgrade less exciting given the asset's maturity and price stability.

On a separate note, AlphaPepe (ALPE), a project that has raised $2.46 million in its presale, is nearing the end of its presale stage. With over 11,000 holders and a current price of $0.02761, buyers are positioning themselves before the asset enters public-market trading.
