BNB Holds $727 as Binance Defies EU License Gap

BNB (BNB-USD) traded near $726.58 on September 5, up 0.8% in 24 hours, despite a fresh question over how Binance serves some European customers without a MiCA license.

The exchange still handled more than 45% of global spot volume in late August, according to Kaiko data cited by Bloomberg, while its euro-denominated share was only 3-4%. This scale gap explains the calm token market, as Binance can absorb a smaller euro franchise while it seeks approval.

ESMA's interim register shows a gap in Binance's licensing status, but not a formal breach. The exchange says it is actively working toward becoming MiCA-authorised and wants a consistent and regulated European service.
