BNB Surges Past $704 as Crypto Market Recovers
Binance Coin (BNB) has surged past $704 as the wider crypto market recovers and investor interest in Layer 1 assets grows. The price increase is largely due to the asset's native utility on BNB Chain, where users need it to pay transaction fees and interact with decentralized exchanges, lending platforms, and other services.
The rally has also put projects on the BNB Chain back in focus, including AlphaPepe, which accepts BNB during its Stage 20 presale. This gives users a direct route into ALPE before the project reveals its fourth centralized exchange on August 31.
AlphaPepe's presale has raised over $2.52 million and attracted more than 11,300 holders, with a current price of $0.02817 per token. The project plans to close its presale and begin decentralized exchange (DEX) trading in Q1 2027, with a planned listing price starting at $0.08.
