The Solana-based meme coin $BONK is facing a major setback after Korea's largest crypto exchange, Upbit, announced it would delist the token on September 7, 2026.

The decision follows a security incident and weak disclosure by the project. As a result, the price of $BONK crashed about 10% within hours, with its 24-hour volume jumping 200% as holders rushed to exit.

Upbit's official notice set clear terms for the delisting: pairs BONKKRW and BONKUSDT will be removed, open orders on those pairs will get canceled at the designated time, withdrawals will stay open until October 7, 2026, and deposits were stopped earlier, on July 7, 2026.
