Bradesco Joins Crypto Custody Market with Institutional Solution
Bradesco, one of Brazil's largest banks, has entered the market for crypto custody services. The bank announced that it will now offer a solution for institutional custody of cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenized assets.
The new platform aims to cater to market participants, including investment managers, mutual funds, and corporate treasuries, which require robust infrastructure to operate with digital assets.
According to Ricardo Barbieri, Bradesco's director, the expansion of custody services to digital assets marks a significant move into a rapidly evolving market with increasing institutional participation.
The bank's goal is to provide its clients with the same level of governance, security, and reliability that characterizes its existing custodial operations, while adapting to the growth of the crypto market.
