Brandt Revives $100,000 Bitcoin Target Amid Record Price Action
Peter Brandt's legendary 2019 parabolic target for Bitcoin has been revived in light of the cryptocurrency's recent price action. When BTC was trading at around $10,000 in June 2019, Brandt predicted a target of $100,000 based on Factor LLC's charts, which showed that no traditional asset could replicate Bitcoin's cyclical performance. The analyst noted that historical data recorded gains of 20x, 489x, 42x, and 93x in previous cycles.
The current price action has brought the weekly logarithmic chart back into focus, with BTC compressed near the lower boundary of its historic ascending channel. This phase of broad accumulation is supported by major funds and systematic capital inflows through spot ETFs, a key difference from the market conditions in 2019 when retail investor sentiment fueled speculation.
Brandt's model remains unchanged, despite the effect of diminishing returns due to Bitcoin's enormous market capitalization. As long as the critical support lines hold, the parabolic scenario remains valid.
