Brandt Revives Parabolic Target as BTC Defies Resistance
Peter Brandt, CEO of Factor LLC, has revived his iconic logarithmic chart from June 2019 that predicted Bitcoin's parabolic phase would continue. The chart shows that Bitcoin's structure remains valid, with the cryptocurrency pushing through $80,000 and testing strong resistance at $82,000.
In the original post, Brandt forecasted a target of $100,000 for Bitcoin when it was trading around $10,000. He noted that no traditional asset could replicate Bitcoin's cyclical performance, which had recorded gains of 20x, 489x, 42x, and 93x in previous cycles.
The current phase is different from the 2019 market conditions, as institutional support has become a key driver for Bitcoin. According to Brandt, major funds and systematic capital inflows through spot ETFs are supporting the channel's stability.
Although the logarithmic trajectory remains unchanged, the effect of diminishing returns means that Bitcoin will struggle to deliver its previous 100x returns. Nevertheless, as long as the critical support lines hold, the parabolic scenario remains valid.
