Brandt Warns: Bitcoin at Risk of Revisiting June Lows Amid Whale Selling Pressure
Veteran trader Peter Brandt has drawn attention to a potential head-and-shoulders chart pattern forming in Bitcoin's price action. The pattern shows Bitcoin peaking near $82,000 in May before breaking below a key neckline at around $75,000.
This led to a significant drop below $60,000, and Brandt suggests that the cryptocurrency may retest its bottom near $58,000 for 2026. Large holders are continuing to sell substantial amounts of Bitcoin, which adds pressure to the market.
A close above $65,000-$68,000 would be needed to revive bullish momentum in the market, but current trends and whale selling activity indicate caution is warranted for investors.
