Braveheart Bio Seeks $319M in Nasdaq IPO with BHB-1893 Lead Asset
Braveheart Bio Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company founded just eight months ago, has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq. The company aims to raise $319 million under the proposed ticker symbol 'BRVE.'
The filing, submitted to the SEC on July 15, 2026, marks one of the more aggressive IPO timelines in recent biotech history. Braveheart was founded in November 2025 with a $185 million Series A and is now racing toward public markets with clinical data in hand.
The company's lead asset is BHB-1893, an oral cardiac myosin inhibitor designed to treat hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). The drug has posted positive Phase 2 results in both obstructive and non-obstructive forms of HCM, announced in March and May 2026, respectively.
Braveheart plans to initiate a global Phase 3 development program in the coming months, which is likely the primary use case for IPO proceeds. The company's commitment to traditional small-molecule therapeutics is evident in its lack of reference to crypto assets or blockchain technologies in its IPO filing.
