Brazilian Exchange Lists World's First Bitcoin-Backed Digital Credit ETF
A new exchange-traded fund (ETF) has been launched on the Brazilian B3 exchange, marking the first time a Bitcoin-supported digital credit ETF has been made available globally. The OranjeBTC ETF aims to provide investors with exposure to the cryptocurrency market while also offering a more stable investment option.
The ETF is designed to track the performance of an underlying index that includes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, with a target annual yield of around 18%. This suggests that investors who hold the ETF may be able to earn returns similar to those experienced by holders of Bitcoin itself.
While this development may be seen as positive news for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, it's worth noting that investing in an ETF is not the same as directly holding a cryptocurrency. As with any investment, there are risks involved and potential losses should be carefully considered before making a decision.
