Breez Unveils Open-Source Progressive Web App for Bitcoin Stablecoin Transfers

Breez has released Glow, an open-source progressive web app that allows users to send stablecoins from their Bitcoin balance. Developed in partnership with Bitcoin Spark, Glow empowers developers to build better user experiences without worrying about the complexities of building on top of Bitcoin.

The app uses Breez's SDK to handle asset exchange in the background and supports Lightning payments through its Spark integration. Users can access Glow on both Apple and Android app stores and can use it to send USDT and USDC across most networks and blockchains, drawing value from their Bitcoin balance.

Glow re-invents the Bitcoin wallet experience by leveraging the Passkey standard, eliminating the need for seed phrase backups. It also supports native Lightning payments, allowing users to send and receive with customizable Lightning addresses that resemble emails.
