Bridge Secures MiCA Approval in Luxembourg, Expanding Stablecoin Infrastructure Across Europe
Stripe's Bridge has secured regulatory approval under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets framework, expanding its stablecoin infrastructure across Europe.
The company received a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) license and an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from Luxembourg's Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).
This approval gives Bridge a regulated foundation in Luxembourg for providing crypto-asset services across the EU through the MiCA passporting framework.
The development comes as Europe moves deeper into a new era of regulated digital assets, with stablecoins and other crypto-based financial products increasingly being integrated into mainstream payments and financial infrastructure.
