A British man known as Chris has finally recovered his Bitcoin stash worth $4.4 million after a grueling 12-year battle following the collapse of Intersango, a UK-based Bitcoin exchange.

In 2011, Chris had bought Bitcoin, but he left it in the exchange's custody. When Intersango shut down without necessary FCA licensing, Chris lost access to his coins.

After years of uncertainty, Chris engaged with a law firm and pursued legal negotiations through U.S. courts. Fortunately, this effort led to the recovery of his funds without going to trial.
