Brock Exits Coinbase as Dominique Baillet Takes Helm
Coinbase has announced that Lawrence Brock will be stepping down as Chief People Officer (CPO) effective August 17, 2026. In his place, Dominique Baillet has been appointed to take on the role.
According to the company's SEC filing, Brock's resignation comes with a transition period during which he will provide advisory services until November 30, 2026. During this time, he will be entitled to a lump sum equal to three months' base salary, payable after the advisory period, as well as continued vesting of his RSUs scheduled to vest on November 20, 2026.
No reason has been given for Brock's resignation. The company has not disclosed any further information about the circumstances surrounding his departure or Baillet's appointment.
