BSOL Investors Trim Holdings Amid Soaring Solana Prices
Investors have started to trim their holdings in Bitwise's Solana-focused ETF, BSOL Holdings. On September 8, investors pulled $2.79 million from BSOL, marking a notable setback for the fund. This withdrawal amounts to approximately 0.29% of its assets under management, which stands at $975.3 million.
Despite this outflow, Solana's ecosystem continues to expand, and the related asset SOL-USD is currently trading at $101.04. This price has surged over a three-month period, reaching a 61.5% increase. Technical signals also remain bullish, with a one-day signal flashing Strong Buy as traders position for continued on-chain activity and staking yields.
The divergence between ETF flows and spot performance highlights the influence of product-specific factors, such as fees or staking mechanics, on fund behavior. This phenomenon underscores how investors' decisions can be driven by various considerations beyond the underlying asset's fundamentals.
