bStocks Surpasses $500M in AUM on Binance
Binance's bStocks platform has reached an impressive milestone of $500 million in assets under management (AUM) just six weeks after its launch. The platform offers tokenized versions of U.S. equities, which are issued as BEP-20 tokens on Binance's BNB Smart Chain and backed 1:1 by shares held with a regulated custodian.
The rapid growth of bStocks reflects the growing demand for tokenized securities that combine traditional market exposure with blockchain-based features. Unlike conventional equity trading, bStocks offer near-instant settlement and can be withdrawn to self-custody wallets for use in DeFi protocols.
Binance's commitment to regulatory compliance has been instrumental in building trust for the product, which operates under an Approved Prospectus and is classified as Certificates representing Financial Instruments. The platform plans to expand its lineup of U.S.-listed equities, potentially including high-profile names like SpaceX.
