BTC and ETH ETFs Draw Record $2.3B as Weekly Inflows Hit 10-Month High
The weekly inflows into Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds have reached their highest levels since October last year, attracting a combined $2.3 billion in new money.
The influx began on August 17 and continued for five consecutive days until August 21, with the week's largest single-day haul of $606 million occurring on August 20. This surge brings the cumulative net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs to $53.71 billion, still short of their October 2025 high of $62.77 billion.
The same trend is observed in Ethereum funds, which saw their largest daily intake since October at $220.77 million on August 20. However, total assets remain 53% below the August 2025 high.
While the annual picture remains negative for both Bitcoin and Ethereum funds, with a year-to-date outflow of $2.91 billion and $177.93 million respectively, the recent inflows have provided some respite from their losing streaks since launch.
