BTC Breaks Above Key Resistance as ETH Nears Crucial Threshold
Bitcoin (BTC) has shown early signs of recovery, trading at around $63,400 on Wednesday after a 2.9% gain and closing above key resistance earlier this week.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 52, leaning slightly positive, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is above its signal line, hinting at recovering upside pressure that has yet to overcome the prevailing resistance structure.
Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, continues to trade sideways, nearing the upper consolidation range near $1,919, where a close above this level suggests a rally ahead. However, recovery attempts are meeting overhead supply from medium- and long-term averages, even as the RSI at 55 stays in mildly positive territory.
Ripple (XRP) shows signs of a mild recovery as it holds around the key psychological level of $1, but remains capped after its recent pullback due to the cluster of overhead Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs). The MACD histogram stays marginally negative, hinting at lingering downside pressure.
