BTC Bulls Regain Control as Brandt Backs Breakout Above $81K
Bitcoin (BTC) has regained control of its price momentum after a bullish reversal, according to a recent trade disclosed by market analyst Brandt. He holds a long Bitcoin position and expects further gains as the cryptocurrency continues to trade near $80,000.
The four-hour chart shows a firmly bullish structure, with BTC trading above its 20, 50, 100, and 200-period exponential moving averages (EMAs). The 20 EMA currently sits at $79,084, providing important support. Below that level, Bitcoin could test $77,283, which marks the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement.
Rising open interest in the derivatives market supports the recovery narrative, but weak spot flows may limit further gains. A sustained move above $60 billion in open interest could strengthen the recovery, while a decline below $50 billion could signal renewed caution.
