BTC Digital Completes 10MW Crypto Mining Facility in Georgia
BTC Digital Ltd., a NASDAQ-listed company, has completed construction of a 10-megawatt cryptocurrency computing facility in Georgia. The site is expected to be ready for mining machine deployment within approximately two months.
Once operational, the facility could support up to 900 petahashes per second of theoretical computing capacity, but the company has not yet installed enough equipment to reach that figure. BTC Digital plans to introduce machines gradually as the site reaches deployment readiness.
The Georgia project is part of the company's broader push into digital asset computing, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing infrastructure. Management believes skills developed for cryptocurrency mining can be transferred to AI computing, providing operational experience that can be applied to future projects.
