BTC Dips Below $76K, Triggers Over $100M in Long Liquidations
Bitcoin (BTC) prices dipped below $76,000 in recent hours, triggering over $100 million in long liquidations. According to trader @CryptoKing4Ever, this sudden drop is a sign that bulls are being flushed from the market.
The current price of $76,533 holds a bullish structure above two key moving averages (EMAs): the 50-day EMA at $70,924 and the 200-day EMA at $66,295. However, other technical indicators suggest fading momentum: the MACD death cross at 2,356 signals that the trend may be reversing, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 68.51 remains neutral within its Bollinger band.
The confluence of these indicators points to a probable healthy retracement toward the 50-day EMA before any potential continuation higher. This development comes amid a broader dip in the crypto market.
