BTC Holds Ground Above $78K as Oil Prices Soar Amid Middle East Tensions
Bitcoin (BTC) price has stabilized above $78,000 as tensions in the Middle East escalate and oil prices surge. On Tuesday, BTC dipped to its lowest level since September 3 at $77,600 before recovering.
The decline came as US equities fell on news of military escalation in the region, with the S&P 500 dropping 0.5% and the Nasdaq falling 0.4%. Oil markets reacted more sharply, with WTI crude oil pushing toward $95 per barrel and Brent crude nearing $100 for the first time since July 24.
Analyst Rekt Capital warns that a weekly close below $78,300 could confirm a breakdown similar to May's failed breakout, which led to BTC falling to near $57,000. However, other analysts remain bullish on Bitcoin's potential, with Crypto analyst Ted Pillows predicting that a weekly close above $83,000 could push the price toward $100,000 this year.
