BTC price dipped to $76,000 after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh reaffirmed the 2% inflation target. However, it recovered and approached $79,000 by the end of the week.

The first quantum-resistant transaction on Bitcoin was executed by StarkWare using the Quantum Safe Bitcoin (QSB) scheme. The method adds an extra layer based on hash functions to protect against threats from quantum computers.

Solana's community voted in favor of doubling the annual disinflation rate from 15% to 30%, which will reduce SOL issuance and lower staking rewards.
