BTC Profit Ratio Hits 52%, Bear Market Exhaustion Possible
A key indicator of Bitcoin's (BTC) health is showing signs that the bear market may be nearing its end. According to cryptocurrency analyst Darkfost, the percentage of Bitcoin supply in profit has declined to 52%, a level approaching those seen during late-stage bear markets.
This metric typically falls below 50% during the deepening phase of bear markets, but a brief dip below that threshold was observed between June and July this year. Notably, such brief breaches often signal that the current downtrend may be nearing its conclusion.
Although the current reading remains above historical extremes, external variables such as macroeconomic conditions, regulatory policy shifts, and institutional adoption of Bitcoin will continue to influence price trajectories. For long-term holders, this data offers some psychological reassurance that the most severe phase of the bear market may have passed.
