BTC Spot ETFs Suffer Heavy Outflows Amid Market Contraction

The Bitcoin spot ETFs witnessed significant outflows in recent days, with a total of $137.32 million recorded as net outflows. Fidelity's FBTC experienced the largest single-fund outflow at approximately $111.90 million.

Jane Street, a quantitative firm, disclosed a substantial position in Bitcoin, revealing that it holds nearly $990 million worth of BTC through various exchange-traded funds (ETFs). This includes a significant allocation to BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).

Meanwhile, Bitmine added 9,926 Ethereum to its holdings over the week ending August 16, bringing its total ETH position to 5,815,164. The company valued this position at approximately $11 billion using an ETH price of $1,893.
