BTC Treasury Strategy Reports Record Quarterly Loss Amid Crypto Market Decline
Strategy's quarterly results for Q2 show a significant loss of over $8.23 billion, largely due to an unrealized loss of $8.32 billion in the second quarter of 2026.
The company's largest holding, BTC, saw Strategy increase its holdings by 846 units within the three-month period ending June 30.
Despite this, CEO Phong Le stated that Strategy reduced its convertible debt to just under $7 billion and increased its U.S. dollar holdings and Bitcoin per share by 12% and 5%, respectively.
Coinbase also reported a 19% annual revenue decline and a 24% drop in crypto spot trading volume, with its fee collection from subscriptions and services accounting for almost half of its net revenue.
