BTCB2 Price Stumbles Amid Exchange Warnings and Market Volatility

A minority fork of Bitcoin, known as BTCB2, has been trading at various prices on an unknown exchange called Neoxa Exchange. The price of BTCB2 reached as high as $100 per coin but many have questioned its validity due to the extremely illiquid and volatile market. One user pointed out that a $82 bid is actually a 130% spread on a beta exchange, which raises questions about the true value of the token.

At press time, the ask price for BTCB2 against USDC was around $130 per coin, with only $94,100 in 24-hour trading volume. The listing on Neoxa Exchange has been met with warnings from various sources, including a public service announcement from bitcoinbip110.org.

A user claimed to have lost $500 worth of Bitcoin due to issues with the exchange, but Neoxa's associate denied the claim and asked the user to open a support ticket. The associate also stated that Neoxa may delist BTCB2 in response to negative feedback from users.
