BTCS Expands AAVE Borrowings to Fuel DeFi Strategy

BTCS Inc. has expanded its use of the AAVE decentralized lending protocol by borrowing an additional $10 million in USDT, bringing its total AAVE borrowings to about $53 million under a previously approved loan-to-value cap of 50%.

The new funds were used to purchase more ETH and USDC, which BTCS then deployed into liquidity pools through its Imperium business as part of its ongoing strategy in decentralized finance markets.

BTCS views these AAVE activities as routine operations and does not expect to file a separate current report for each new borrowing, suggesting that large protocol-based financing moves may become a regular feature of its capital management approach.
