BTCS Expands AAVE Borrowings to Fuel DeFi Strategy with $10M USDT Loan
BTCS Inc., an operator in the digital asset and decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, has expanded its use of the AAVE decentralized lending protocol by borrowing an additional $10 million in USDT. This move comes on the heels of a previously approved loan-to-value cap of 50%, bringing BTCS' total AAVE borrowings to approximately $53 million.
The new funds have been used to purchase more ETH and USDC, which were then deployed into liquidity pools through BTCS' Imperium business. This is in line with the company's ongoing strategy in decentralized finance markets.
According to BTCS, this borrowing activity is considered routine operations and will not require a separate current report for each new borrowing. The company views large protocol-based financing moves as part of its capital management approach.
