BTCS Swaps Over $8 Million of ETH for Cash Amid Ongoing DeFi Exposure
Nasdaq-listed Ethereum infrastructure company BTCS used about $8.65 million of its Ether holdings to repay principal and interest on Aave loans in the second quarter.
The company ended June with just $317,113 in cash and stablecoins, while still holding about $88.1 million in other digital assets exposed to crypto markets and DeFi risks.
This shift away from idle cash is a significant development for BTCS, as it suggests the company's priority remains on maximizing its exposure to potential gains in the market, rather than conserving capital.
