BTCS Touts Q2 Growth Amid Crypto Market Volatility
BTCS Inc., a US-based Ethereum-first blockchain technology company, reported its Q2 2026 financial results on August 20, 2026. The company highlighted the growth of its Imperium DeFi business, which contributed 61% to total revenue and drove a 47% quarter-over-quarter increase in gross profit. This achievement comes despite a volatile and declining crypto market.
The company posted Q2 2026 revenue of $2.4 million and gross profit of $1.5 million, resulting in a 61% gross margin. Imperium's DeFi revenues rose 48% from the prior quarter, while blockchain infrastructure revenues from NodeOps and Builder+ fell due to Ethereum price weakness.
BTCS narrowed its net loss to $34.9 million and reduced total debt to $50.4 million through repayments of DeFi borrowings. However, total assets fell to $89.3 million due to declines in the fair value of digital assets.
