BTCT Shares Soar as Georgia Data Center Nears Full Deployment
Shares of BTCT, the parent company of BTC Digital Ltd, are surging Monday after news broke that construction on its cryptocurrency computing facility in Georgia is complete and nearing full deployment.
The facility, which will house high-performance mining machines and support digital asset mining operations, is expected to reach full operational capacity within two months. Once fully operational, it's designed to support up to 900,000 TH/s of theoretical computing capacity, marking a significant expansion of BTCT's U.S. footprint.
This move supports the company's 'dual-engine' growth framework, which balances digital asset mining with a strategic expansion into artificial intelligence computing services. The high-density power and data center infrastructure built for the Georgia site provides operational synergies directly applicable to higher-value AI and high-performance computing workflows.
