Bull Score Surges to New High as Bitcoin Faces Crucial Confirmation Test
CryptoQuant's Bull Score has reached an all-time high of 80, indicating a significant shift in Bitcoin's on-chain and derivatives signals.
The score jumped from 30 to 80 in just one week, with eight out of ten indicators now showing bullish trends.
The rapid increase in demand is evident in the growth of spot demand, which is expanding at its fastest monthly pace since December 2025. Additionally, spot and futures demand are both growing together for the first time since October 2025, suggesting that buyers are not simply using leverage to chase price.
However, despite the bullish signal, there are still some concerns. Traders' unrealized profit margin has risen to 20.5%, which can lead to increased selling pressure. Additionally, whales have realized a record $614 million in profits on August 20, and exchange inflows across BTC, ETH, and XRP may indicate potential short-term selling pressure.
The market still needs to close above the 365-day moving average of $83,000 to confirm the new bull cycle. If it does, it will be a significant milestone for Bitcoin's price action.
