Bullish Firms Predict Bitcoin Price Up to $1 Million by 2033
Several major investment firms have released long-term price forecasts for Bitcoin, but there is no consensus on where the cryptocurrency will trade in 2030. According to ARK Invest's 2026 research, Bitcoin's market capitalization could reach about $16 trillion by 2030, implying a price of roughly $762,000 per BTC.
ARK has also published three 2030 scenarios: approximately $300,000 in its bear case, $710,000 in its base case, and $1.5 million in its bull case. The firm expects Bitcoin to retain a dominant position as a digital store of value, supported by institutional adoption, spot Bitcoin ETFs, and corporate holdings.
Standard Chartered has placed a $500,000 Bitcoin price target on 2030, but this figure is not formally published research. Instead, it comes from reports in April 2026 that associated the bank's digital-assets strategist Geoff Kendrick with the forecast.
Bernstein's analysis provides a more measured long-term trajectory, expecting Bitcoin to reach approximately $300,000 by the end of 2029 and potentially $1 million by 2033. The firm has based its valuation partly on Bitcoin's historical four-year market cycles and the marginal cost of mining.
