Bullish Flag Emerging for Dogecoin Amidst Market Volatility
Analyst Ali Martinez believes that Dogecoin (DOGE) is forming a bullish flag pattern, which could indicate a potential breakout. According to Martinez, if DOGE closes above $0.090 in an hourly timeframe, it would confirm the chart setup and set up targets at $0.096, $0.105, and ultimately $0.115.
The current price of DOGE is near $0.085, just above the support area identified in the chart analysis, which stretches from $0.081 to $0.084. Despite a 24-hour decline of 3.8%, DOGE has shown positive figures over longer periods, gaining 2.0% over seven days and advancing 22.3% across 14 days.
The token's price movement comes in the wake of Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh's hawkish comments at Jackson Hole, where he reiterated that inflation was still too high and expressed concerns about interest rates being restrictive enough.
